Isro To Launch Weather Satellite INSAT-3DR In August
Recently in news coming from the NDTV that India is going to launch the weather satellite within next month with its heavy rocket. The Indian Space Research Organisation will launch INSAT 3D Art next month with its rocket. A.S Kiran Kumar who is the chief of the Indian space agency.
Mr Kiran Kumar also said that the Indian space research organisation is targeting the number of it’s satellites and rocket launches for the current 6-8 per year to 12-18 per year. News which is talking to hotels aunties on the headlines of the event,the director K Sivan from VSSC ( Vikram Sarabhai space centre)said that the Indian satellite will be a co-passenger to an Algerian satellite.
Keeping both the satellite in observation both the satellite will put into different orbits. So the next stage of the rocket will be switched off after ejecting cats at first. This should be the heaviest satellite up to 3.2 ton to be lifted by the Indian rocket from the Sriharikota rocket port in Andhra Pradesh. And also Mr Sivan also said that the Indian space research organisation soon will be testing for scramjet or air-breathing engine.
The scramjet is used in the atmospheric phase of the rockets flight which help to bring down the launch cost by reducing the amount of oxidizer which is carried along the fuel of the rocket.
Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Director K Sivan said the weather monitoring and forecasting satellite on board Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle is also planned to be launched later this year.
