Finally, Huawei has introduced its new P-series flagship device – P9 in India. Huawei P9, which declared in China in April, it is the first in the world to feature Leica branded dual rear cameras. Huawei P9 is a technological showcase for the Chinese telecom giant. 

Huawei launched the P9 flagship smartphone in India. While the company was expected to bring the larger P9 Plus variant to India as well, it hasn’t done so. The P9 has been priced at Rs. 39,999, and will be presented exclusively via Flipkart at 3pm IST on Wednesday itself.
Huawei made headlines when it introduced the P9 and P9 Plus, with the smartphones featuring a dual rear camera setup that was planned in collaboration with Leica. The configuration comprises two 12-megapixel sensors with f/2.2 apertures, and while one captures light in color, the other captures monochrome images. As for the selfie cameras, both smartphones come with 8-megapixel offerings.

The main difference between the Huawei P9 and the Huawei P9 Plus are the display sizes, with the former sporting a 5.2-inch full-HD IPS LCD and the latter a 5.5-inch full-HD Super AMOLDED display. While the P9 bears a 3000mAh battery, the P9 Plus bears a 3400mAh battery. While the Huawei P9 was introducing in two memory/ inbuilt storage variants, the Huawei P9 Plus only comes in one configuration. 
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Huawei P9 features the company’s EMUI 4.1 skin on top. It is powered by a Hi-Silicon Kirin 955 octa-core processor that’s coupled with 3GB of RAM.
This smartphone features the fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor improves the security in this smartphone. Now you can set the lock in this smartphone so the only you can unlock the device. The display of this smartphone comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It comes with 4G LTE connectivity. It also features various other connectivity options. It include2G, 3G, GPS, Wi-fi, GPRS, and Bluetooth. Huawei P9 is a Dual SIM smartphone.
Huawei P9 also supports time-lapse, HDR mode and slow motion video recording. While it does have few camera tricks up its sleeve, the device lacks 4K video recording capabilities and Optical Image Stabilization.

The company has introduced the smartphone in its Prestige Gold, Ceramic White, and Titanium Grey color variants in India. The smartphone features a 3000mAh battery. The company is also touting a VIP service with the 2-year warranty, 3-month screen replacement warranty, and a drop and pickup service.
At the event, the company also declared the Stainless Steel edition of the Huawei Watch will go on sale in India by Flipkart at 3pm IST in India, at the same Rs. 22,999 price of the original.
Huawei, which is now the no.1 smartphone brand in China and no.3 smartphone brand globally, plans to increase its reach here by creating over 50,000 experience zones.
